The Return of The Red Violin

A legendary instrument and world class virtuoso violinist return to Saginaw to perform with the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra in their season finale at The Temple Theatre with Return of The Red Violin, featuring special guest Elizabeth Pitcairn and the legendary ‘Red Mendelssohn’ Stradivarius violin, one of the most valuable violins on the planet. We begin the evening with Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, before Elizabeth Pitcairn takes the stage with the ‘Red Mendelssohn’ Stradivarius to play Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto op. 64 with our orchestra. We finish the evening with a timeless and powerful classic, Bruckner’s Symphony No. 1. Show starts at 7:30 PM. Temple Theatre, 201 N. Washington Ave., Saginaw.
