Vanishing Elephant Players present Ride the Cyclone, the new cult musical by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell. In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other — the chance to return to life. This popular musical is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived. Performance dates: August 29-30 at 7pm August 31 at 3pm. Tickets are $20 for all performances. All proceeds go toward the restoration of our home theater, the Historic Masonic Temple of Bay City. Please note that due to stairs leading into the building, as well as down to the bathrooms, our building is not yet accessible to all.
