Charley, a teen living with his single father, finds work caring for an aging racehorse name Lean on Pete. When he learns Pete is bound for slaughter, the two embark on an odyssey across the new American frontier in search of a place to call home. In collaboration with Riverside Film Festival, we'll show a movie and leave plenty of time afterward for discussion. All films are free to the public, no reservations needed and coffee is provided. The screening room has space for 50 people. Start at 2 PM. Butman Fish Library, 1716 Hancock, Saginaw. Phone: (989) 799-9160
