TRI-FOR-HOPE Movie Premier and Talk Back @ State Theatre

The inspiring story of endurance, resilience, and mental health advocacy will come to the big screen as the Tri-For-Hope movie premieres at the State Theatre in Bay City, Michigan. The film documents Brandon Hillaker's extraordinary 400-mile journey from Hell, Michigan to Paradise, Michigan. In total, he spent 96 hours biking 330 miles, swimming 5 miles, and running 65 miles, all in the name of breaking the mental health stigma and giving hope to those struggling with mental challenges and suicidal thoughts. "I want to instill in people that the only reason we think the impossible is impossible is because people tell us it is," Hillaker said. His story of perseverance and recovery is at the heart of the film, showing audiences what can happen when determination meets purpose. Starts at noon 7 PM.
