Jessica Harvey approaches structure as a way of thinking. Her kinetic sculptures operate through balance, leverage, and calibrated motion, proposing that meaning can emerge from systems rather than image alone. Wood, metal, wire, motors, and sensors remain visible, allowing the structural logic of each work to sit on the surface. Hinges pivot. Weight shifts. A small adjustment travels through the frame and alters the whole.
