Review Magazine, Mid Michigan Music & Strouse/Hopkins Apartments are proud to present the 30th Annual Review Music Awards Ceremony & Celebration on Wednesday, April 20th at LumberBaron's Brewery in the Genevieve Ballroom, located at 804 E. Midland St. in Bay City from 6:00 PM - 1:00 AM, with doors opening at 5:00 PM.

Since our first ceremony in 1987, the Review Music Awards have evolved into one of the premier cultural events in the Great Lakes Bay Area and beyond, awarding trophies to over 60 categories of Rock, Country, Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, Folk and Alternative.

The diversity & scope of the Awards truly makes this ceremony a regionalized version of the 'Grammy Awards'. The top five groups and musicians in each category were nominated by fans and the general public through an online ballot process over a three-month period from January through March. This year over 8,482 total votes were cast, with over 948 musicians throughout the region nominated The final round of voting witnessed over 1000 votes the first weekend alone!

The single purpose of this ceremony is to bring greater community, statewide, and national recognition to local talent, which we feel has a rich history of being one of the strongest in the state, and giving it the proper notoriety and attention that it deserves. Guest personalities, cultural, and community leaders will assist in handing out awards the night of the ceremony, while a strong list of regional performers will headline this year's show with live performances.

Musical guests for this landmark anniversary celebration include national recording artist & Saginaw native Larry McCray, who made his debut appearance at the 1st Review Awards Ceremony, and will be accompanied by guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Matt Besey; songwriters Melissa May & Brian Coonan; song- writer Andrew Kitzman; Hip-Hop artist Redburn; the multi-talented Michael Brush accompanied by Julie Mulady and a string & horn section; the original rock-combo ADABOY!; rock trio The Chase Engel Band; and the multi-talented Americana combo Jen Cass & the Lucky Nows.
