Terry Francis Kasper passed away at 1:15 p.m. on July 7, 2013 after a lengthy illness at the age of 65. Terry was born February 29, 1948, one of fourteen children to Lawrence and Janet (Metevia) Kasper. He is survived by his wife Connie Kasper, his three children, sons Terry and Jamie and daughter Teresa. Also left to cherish Terry's memory are 3 grandchildren, Patrick, Luke and Skylar, and 11 siblings. One sister and two brothers preceded Terry in death.

A locally renowned musician, Terry was loved by many and was always eager and willing to aid virtually anyone in need of help. In addition to being an accomplished musician Terry was also a local Business owner and owned and operated the Clock Doctor in Bridgeport Michigan. Terry began learning the craft of clock repair at the age of 14. As with his music, Terry became very passionate about his craft and eventually owned the store.

Terry was also a proud United States Army Veteran and served his country for fifteen months during the conflict in Viet Nam in 1968 and 1969. Although Terry was member of a great number of local bands in his musical career, at the time of his death, Terry was a member (bass guitar player) of the award winning local band Vengeance. Terry was at the nucleus of the success he and his band enjoyed and his talent helped propel his band to be recognized at the 2012 Review Magazine awards as the Best Variety Band and the Best Rock Band of 2012, a sense of accomplishment that Terry wore proudly and the culmination of many years of dedication.

The silence of Terry's absence from the local music scene is already deafening among the local musician community and all of those who loved him so dearly. A Memorial Service will be held beginning at noon July 21, 2013 at the VFW Hall, 3169 Carrollton Rd. Saginaw, MI followed by a Memorial Jamboree to honor Terry's legacy. The surviving members of Terry's band Vengeance will be hosting the event with a number of local bands and talent for entertainment throughout the day along with a pig roast.
