The Cleveland Cavaliers came to town to take on the Detroit Pistons with their all-time great LeBron James in tow.   James was closing in on the youngest player in NBA history to reach the 26,000 point mark in their career.   LeBron now in his 13th year in the NBA would pass the 26,000 mark early in the fourth quarter again the Pistons.

The Palace would see a sell out when the "King" would come to town.   About 1/3 of the crowd wore some type of Cleveland Cavaliers jersey or t-shirt at the game.   But every time that James touched the ball, was introduced or shoot a free throw he was loudly booed by the Palace faithful.

I have also enjoyed seeing the games top players in action when they come to Palace.   I like to compare them to the other great players that I have seen over the years.   He ranks right up there with the other greats that I have seen.   He passed Kobe Bryant as the youngest player to reach the 26,000 career point mark.

James is now the 17th all time scorer in NBA history and has 3 other active players just ahead of him.   If he continues at the pace he is playing he will pass the other three by the end of the season.   LeBron James is making a big difference this season and carrying the team on his big shoulders and I can see another rematch of last year's NBA Finals between Cleveland and the Golden State Warriors.
