Pit & Balcony's summer camp, Class Act, is returning this year for students ages 12-18 interested in all aspects of putting on a theatrical production! The program gives students the opportunity to learn from local theatre professionals and have hands-on experiences building, designing, and marketing their own show which they will present at the end of the week free to the public!

Class Act is a 1-week program which runs July 25-30 from 9am-4pm each day. In the mornings students rotate through classes in set building, lighting and sound design, costume design, props design, playwriting, marketing, and more! Each afternoon is spent rehearsing for the Saturday afternoon performance. This year's production is an adaptation of The Tempest by William Shakespeare. Lunch is provided daily as well as snacks.

The registration fee for the week is $75 and up to 6 full scholarships are available.

On Saturday, July 30th we invite youth ages 4-11 to join us for a 1-day mini camp where they will learn from the older students about the design and production process including a walk-on role for that afternoon's play.

Mini Camp registration is $25 and up to 3 full scholarships are available.

Despite the deadline on the forms, we are accepting registrations until July 18th, but space is limited for both camps.  The registration and scholarship forms are available by clicking here.
