The Tomodachi Society tea ceremony, often held at the Japanese Cultural Center and Tea House in Saginaw, provides an intimate experience of Chado (The Way of Tea). Members receive exclusive invitations, which include watching the ritualistic preparation of matcha, enjoying traditional sweets, and experiencing the principles of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility.
