An incredible evening is in store to celebrate romanticism in music, including a big, rich orchestral sound, lush harmonies, and the extremes of musical expression. To open the evening, Tchaikovsky's program from the opera Eugene Onegin. Also a style of music called Strurm and Drang [Storm and Stress] will feature Joseph Haydn's Symphony no. 44, Trauer (Mourning). The central piece on the program is Anton Bruckner's Symphony no. 4, Romantic (1874). Runs from 8:00 - 9:30 PM. Temple Theatre, 203 N. Washington Ave., Saginaw.
