The Beauty of Diversity in My Community: Hemlock Semiconductor 2020 Community Calendar Contest Student Artwork

Posted in: Art

The Saginaw Arts & Enrichment Commission presents The Beauty of Diversity in My Community: Hemlock Semiconductor 2020 Community Calendar Contest Student Artwork, as part of Art @ the Andersen. The exhibit will be on display through October 30, 2020 at the Andersen Enrichment Center, 120 Ezra Rust Drive, Saginaw and will be open for viewing from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday – Friday. The annual calendar competition was open to high school students in Bay, Gratiot, Midland and Saginaw counties. Through their interpretation of this year’s theme, students were to depict any facet of diversity they choose to represent – from cultural, racial, disability and religious to gender, workplace and skill-set variety (trades versus college degrees). Twenty-one submissions are on display at Andersen Enrichment Center, 14 of which will be featured in the Hemlock Semiconductor 2021 Community Calendar. Awards will be presented at a virtual awards ceremony for the student artists
