Jake Slater lived the first thirteen years of his life in a small farming community just south of Saginaw Michigan where he attended school, went to church, and began the love for the music that would change his life forever. An Elvis fan since 6 years old, his interest in Elvis began when listening to an online 1950’s music channel, the sounds of “You’re So Square (Baby I Don’t Care)” echoed through the speakers. The artist’s name accompanying the song title was that of Elvis Presley. The light bulb lit up and the gene of Rock n’ Roll was switched on. TIckets $20.00. Starts at 7 PM. State Theatre, 913 Washington Ave., Bay City.
