In the 2025 baseball playoffs: Aaron Judge: 13 hits - one home run -7 RBI’S. Aaron Judge makes $40 million a year! He was also adopted and said he never wants to hear from his real parents. The Tigers lost to the Mariners in 5 games. The last game went 15 innings. Our manager took Skubal out after 99 pitches. (NOT GOOD). Then he put in our worst relief pitcher who gave the game away in the last inning (NOT GOOD). So the Tigers gave A.J. Hinch $8 million a year for 5 years. Jeeno Thitkul is the best in the LPGA. She is only 22. In 2024 she won over $6 million.. Two Saginaw Spirit players made NHL rosters: Michael Misa - San Jose Sharks and Zayne Parekh - Calgary Flames. Shohei Ohtani had some kind of day in his last game before going to the World Series. He hit 3 homers & had 10 Ks. He also makes $70 million. Baseball player Jesus Montero was killed in a motorcycle accident.
The Toronto Blue Jays went to the World Series on a George Springer 3 run homer. George hit his first ever MLB homer against the Detroit Tigers in May of 2014. In the 2025 World Series, the L.A. Dodgers have 14 former Great Lake Loons on their roster including Clayton Kershaw. Chauncey Billups (HOF-PISTON) arrested for rigging card games (STUPID).
LOOKING BACK: Gordie Howe after heavy snow shoveled his driveway. He then looked over and shoveled his neighbor’s driveway. The neighbor came out and said, “I didn’t ask you to do that”. After this ungrateful jerk went back inside Gordie shoveled all the snow back on.
On November 27,1996 the Utah Jazz overcame a 36-point deficit and won 107-103 over Denver. Social media slogans on the back of NFL football helmets are stupid & not needed. (WOW). Game #3 in the World Series I watched until 2 in the morning! The Jays made 2 bad running mistakes. Ohtani was 4/4 with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and was walked 5 straight times. Freeman hit a walk off homerun to win it in the 18th inning. The game was EPIC (ONE MORE OMG).

Max Wieland & Mickey Lolich - both have a similar past to conquering the impossible. Mickey hurt his right arm when he was a kid and then learned to throw left - it worked: He pitched in the 1968 World Series & won 3 games, hit a home run, had an ERA a of 1.67. Lifetime he won 217 games & struck out 2832 batters. Max Wieland when he was 10 (a great pitcher for the Saginaw Sugar Beats youth travel team), got filliped out of an all-terrain vehicle. He put his right arm out & came very close to ripping it off completely. Max was put into a helicopter and taken to hospital in Ann Arbor. After numerous surgeries that involved putting a metal rod into his arm to replace his crushed bone, they also removed muscles from his back and knitted them into his arm. After 12 months his right arm was working again. It was strong but not enough to do what he liked best - pitching a baseball. So like Mickey he started pitching left- handed. Today at age 15 he is doing great as a high school pitcher in Pinconning High School. This kid is also on the basketball & soccer teams. Adding to that, Max is great at golf. To top it all off, he is an all-A student.
