The Saginaw Spirit (8-5-1-0) win streak ended at 4-games following a 5-1 loss to the London Knights in front of 8,901 at Budweiser Gardens in London, ON Friday night. 
 
The Spirit fell behind early when London forward Connor McMichael (10) gave the Knights a 1-0 lead just 31-seconds into the game, but second year Spirit forward Ethan Cardwell (4) knotted the game at 1-goal apiece with his fourth tally of the season with assists coming from Blade Jenkins and Ilya Solovyov at 7:48 of the first period. 
 
London would go on to score the next four goals for a 5-1 victory.
 
Saginaw will look to rebound in a matchup featuring two of the top prospects in the 2020 NHL draft when Quinton Byfield and the Sudbury Wolves pay a visit to take on Saginaw and Cole Perfetti for a 7:05 pm face off at the Dow Event Center tonight.
