Spirit host Windsor tonight

The Saginaw Spirit will close out the 2016 OHL regular season with back to back home games at the Dow Event Center tonight and tomorrow night.
 
The Spirit (24-34-5-3) will welcome the Windsor Spitfires to the Dow tonight. The Spit's (38-21-6-1) finished second in the west division of the OHL's western conference .
 
Tomorrow night the Spirit host the 2016 OHL western conference west division champion Sarnia Sting who are (40-18-5-2) this year.
 
The Spirit will now await the results of the final two remaining regular season games between the London Knights and the Erie Otters to see who their first round opponent will be in the 2016 OHL playoffs. 
 
Both London and Erie are currently tied for the top western conference playoff spot with 103 points apiece respectively. The Knight's (50-13-2-1) will host the Otter's (51-14-1-0) at the Budweiser Gardens in London, ON tonight. 
 
Erie will become the host when they welcome London for the second game of a home-and-home meeting at the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, PA tomorrow night.
