Spirit fall to Mississauga in overtime

The Saginaw Spirit blew a two goal lead in the third period leading to a 5-4 overtime loss to the Missisauga Steelheads at the Dow Event Center Saturday.

The Spirit had a commanding two goal lead in the third period but relinquished that lead, sending the game to overtime where they ultimately fell to the Steelheads.

Connor Brown paced the Saginaw scoring with 2 goals, while Dylan Sadowy and Blake Clarke added single tallies respectively.

The Spirit will return to the Dow Event Center tomorrow afternoon for a 4 p.m. game where they will host the Ottawa 67's for their annual YMCA family fun day and Credit Union Da
