The Sugar Beets' season run's from June 5, through July 29, with the roster consisting of 32-NCAA collegiate baseball players from division-I, div-II, div-III, NAIA, and JUCO colleges from across the Great Lakes region, who will be involved in helping run the camps.
Saginaw Township Department of Recreation will host three single-day camps:
Monday June 18, Monday July 9, and
Monday July 23, with each camp running from
11 am until
3 pm each day. Registration is available at
Center Courts, which is across from Heritage High School on Center Ave. in Saginaw Township.
Freeland Sports Zone will host two 4-day camps running from Mon-Thurs on June 25-28 and July 16-19 with both camps starting at 10 am until 2:30 pm each day. Registration is available at the Freeland Sports Zone on Midland Road in Freeland, MI.
These camps will be in addition to the previously announced partnership between the Sugar Beets,
the Friends of Hoyt Park, and
the Saginaw County Parks and Recreation who have already planned a two-day Sugar Beets camp on
Tuesday and
Wednesday June 19-20 from
11 am until
3 pm at Hoyt Park in the City of Saginaw. Registration is available through the Saginaw County Parks and Recreation.
All of these camps are open to all softball and baseball players, no matter the experience level; ages 6 through 14 with each camper receiving a free Sugar Beets T-shirt, along with an autograph session with the Sugar Beets players included in the camp fee.
