The 27 student pieces on display showcase the artwork created by K-8 students at both schools. Students developed their compositions in a variety of 2D techniques using the principles of design, drawing inspiration from art history and artists from various time periods.
The Art @ the Andersen project was established by the Saginaw Arts & Enrichment Commission to give artists the opportunity to showcase their work and to introduce the community to the abundant creativity in the Great Lakes Bay Region and throughout the state. Individual pieces on display may be available for purchase.
This Art @ the Andersen exhibition is made possible with the support of the Saginaw Arts and Enrichment Commission, Maxwell K. Pribil Memorial Trust, The Jury Foundation, Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, and the Harvey Randall Wickes Foundation. For more information call the Saginaw Arts and Enrichment Commission at 989.759.1363.
