The Great Lakes Loons held their annual downtown parade through Main Street in Midland. This is the official start of the home season for the Great Lakes Loons in 2016. After having no parade in 2015 because of poor weather it was good to see the parade down Main Street. Hundreds of Loons fans turned out for the 1/2 hour parade which featured about 25 entries that had many tossing candy to all of the kids today. The sunshine helped keep all warm on the inside.
