The 2012 Masters Golf Tournament has three days of practice rounds that are open to lucky ticket holders who have gotten them through the Masters lottery.   Every year I enter the Masters Golf Tournament lottery for the chance to buy tickets to a Practice Round for Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of the Tournament.   This year the actual Tournament had a lottery for each day of the Tournament.    The Masters is one of the most difficult tickets in sports.

True Golf fans must make The Masters Golf Tournament a thing on their bucket list of things to do in their lifetime.    I have been lucky to have gone to 3 days of the Practice Rounds.   I now want to win the ticket lottery to go to the actual Tournament.    This years Monday's Practice Round on April 2, 2012 saw the temperature reach 95 degrees in Augusta, Georgia.   The Augusta National Golf Club hosts this private tournament each year by invitation only.

The Masters Golf Tournament began in 1934 and has been held each year since by invitation only.  This tournament is one of the Majors for professional golfers.   This year one of the favorites will Tiger Woods fresh off a victory a week before the tourney.   This is one of the majors that he is attempting to win in his quest to pass Jack Nicklaus with 18 Majors.

One is totally impressed with the whole experience taking in the day at Augusta National.    From the gift shop to getting something to eat is run very good during the practice rounds.   One is also impressed with the hills that run through the entire course making it quite the walk around seeing each hole.   After visiting the grounds it gives you a totally different impression of the tournament when you watch it on television.   Again if you have the chance to get to Augusta, Georgia during the first week of April stop by The Masters.
