Michael Brush is mostly recognized as a jazz/blues pianist, vocalist, and composer. His performance history includes over fifty years in a variety of genres, and for thirty years was concurrent with a music education career in the Saginaw Public Schools. He has received numerous awards related to songwriting, musicianship, teaching, and community leadership, culminating in “Melodies & Memories, A [Saginaw] Community Tribute to Michael C. Brush” in 2011. Michael has produced five albums of music, “Words”: a collection of his lyrics, and “Songs for Us”: a collection of socially conscious songs for young people. Join us outside in front of the Center for your Thursday Happy Hour! Drink specials and small plates will be available for purchase while you enjoy the free, live music!. 4 to 8 PM.
