Superior Donuts

This charming and poignant play about hope centers upon despondent Arthur Przybyszewski, a former 1960s radical, who owns a decrepit donut shop in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. Franco Wicks, an energetic but troubled young Black man who is his only employee, wants to update the shop with lively music and healthy menu options. This comedy-drama by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright , Tracy Letts explores the challenges of embracing the past and the redemptive power of friendship.
