Stand Down to Support Homeless & At-Risk Veterans in Saginaw County

Saginaw YMCA and the Saginaw County Veterans Service Office are proud to present a FREE Stand Down Event for homeless and at-risk Veterans from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Saginaw YMCA, 1915 Fordney Street. This community-focused event is designed to connect Veterans with the essential services, resources, and support systems they need. Attendees will have direct access to local and state organizations dedicated to improving the lives of those who have served. Representatives from the Saginaw VA; Assistance with locating DD214 documents; MI211 & Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency; Michigan Works employment services; Saginaw VA Affairs Drum Circle; Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority; Eastside Soup Kitchen & Saginaw Rescue Mission; Legal Services of Eastern Michigan; Food, clothing, and blanket giveaways; Haircut vouchers from Bayshire Beauty Academy; And much more…
