Saginaw County Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The Board of Directors of the Saginaw County Hall of Fame will honor the inductees of this year's election at The Saginaw Club. Cash Bar at 7:30 pm and dinner at 6 pm, with program starting at 7 pm. The menu features three entrees: Chicken Parmesan, Rainbow Trout, and Braised Tri-Tips. Cost is $25. Inductees consist of: Clarence Harden & Moxie Mulrooney, joint managers of the Saginaw County Fair who brought the Fair to a new level, making it recognized in 1965 as 'Michigan's Outstanding Fair'. Under their leadership the fair gained the reputation as the 'Largest County Fair in America, East of the Rockies'. Arthur Neumann, founding father of Trout Unlimited, its first Vice President and full-time executive director. Peters Oppermann - noted business man and a founder of Pit & Balcony, president of the Saginaw Symphony, and a director of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Jack Tucker - reporter and photographer for the Saginaw News for 66 years.
