This event is FREE for Virtual Pass holders. This event is only available Live on Feb. 23rd at 7 PM. Midland Center for the Arts, 1801 W. St. Andrews, Midland. Visit MCFTA.org for ticket information. Step behind the mirror and come to your Angel of Music as we uncover what is behind the mask of Broadway’s longest running musical, The Phantom of the Opera! Dear friend of the Center, and conductor of The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, Richard Carsey, will be joined by former members of the company for intimate conversations and backstage stories. Guests include former Phantom, Derrick Davis, who you may remember from our production of Carousel under the Richard’s direction; and Elizabeth Welch, who will share insights from playing Christine for many years, including extensive time performing the role in Germany. You love the music and now you can hear it along with stories of what happens backstage and onstage before, after, and during the show!
