July 8th, 1776, was the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence. Join Frankenmuth Historical Association Director Nathan Seeley and 5th generation Frankenmuth native and Franconian dialect of German speaker Dan Haubenstricker in Fischer Hall to hear the reading of the Declaration of Independence in English and in German.
