MSO music director Bohuslav Rattay pays homage to his homeland with two works by Antonin Dvorák, providing a glimpse of Czech culture. In between the Dvorák pieces, violinist Simone Porter, fresh off solo performances with the LA Philharmonic, performs Sibelius’ masterful—and only—concerto. Midland Center for the Arts, 1801 W.
