Join us for a series of independent, foreign, and art house films at the library! In collaboration with Riverside Film Festival, we'll show a movie on selected Fridays and leave plenty of time afterward for discussion.All films are free to the public, no reservations needed and coffee is provided. The screening room has space for 50 people. Today's film is the 2024 Documentary 'Born Hungry', an inspiring true story of celebrity chef Sash Simpson. As a young Indian boy, Sash is abandoned by his family, and forced to survive alone on the street of Chennai by eating from garbage cans. After being adopted by a Canadian couple, he returns to India as an adult armed with only blurry memories to find his long-lost family. Admission: Free. Butman Fish Library, 1716 Hancock.
