In early 1900's upper-class Englishwoman and her cousin meet an Englishman and his son in Florence and she and the son develop mutual affection. After woman and cousin return to England, woman resumes relations with her upper-class finance, but her friend from the Italian vacation renters her life. Choices, choices, choices.
