The University of Michigan played on Saturday at the Crisler Center against winless Delaware State and came away with a big victory. The Wolverines would end up with six players in double figures with Caris LeVert with 15 points and Zak Irvin with 12 points.
Playing in front of the smallest crowd that I have witnessed at Crisler Center the Wolverines jumped out to a big lead and never looked back. They clamped down on defense in the second half and out scored the Hornets 37-3 at one point. The final score was 80-33 and moved the Wolverines to a 7-3 record.
Michigan now plays three more opponents at home before opening the Big Ten schedule on the road at Illinois on December 30th. They will face Northern Kentucky, Youngstown State and Bryant University in the next three games. All should be relatively easy contests.
