The 2015 Big Ten Football Championship team was honored at the halftime of the Florida vs. Michigan State basketball game on Saturday December 12, 2015. Head Coach Mark Dantonio brought all of his seniors along to the game to be introduced.
To a rousing reception at the Breslin Center Dantonio told the crowd that the Spartans have to more games to play. He thanked the crowd for their continued support throughout the 2015 season. The Spartans defeated both the University of Michigan and Ohio State University this year on the last play of both games. Their only blemish on the 12-1 season was on a controversial play/call against Nebraska.
The Spartans now take on the University of Alabama on December 31, 2015 in the Cotton Bowl.
