Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra Opens 2005-2006 Season with
From Russia with Love

 
        The phenomenal young pianist Natasha Paremski will perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of the SBSO Music Director Patrick Flynn, on Saturday, October 15, 8 p.m. at the Temple Theatre, downtown Saginaw. 

 
The concert will also include the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra performing Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. 
   
The concert, affectionately entitled "KahanCerto," is in honor of Leo and Emilie Kahan.  Horizons Conference Center and the Jury Foundation are sponsors for this concert.
     
Born in Moscow, Natasha began her piano studies at age four.  In 1995, she moved to the United States with her family and began piano studies at the San Francisco Conservatory.  She is now on full scholarship at Mannes College of Music (New York City), studying with Pavlina Dokoska.
Natasha has debuted at Carnegie Hall with the New York Youth Symphony, made two CDs with the Moscow Philharmonic, and debuted with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. 
Natasha has just been presented with 2006 Gilmore Young Artist Award.
