The Alden B. Dow Home & Studio Offers a Special Weekend of Tours The Alden B. Dow Home & Studio, a National Historic Landmark located at 315 Post. St., Midland, is offering its annual Conducted Tour Weekend on October 5 - 6 - 7. The tour begins with one of the most beautiful contemporary homes in America, the Alden B. Dow Home & Studio. From there you will board a mini bus to explore 'Alden Dow's Midland', home of over 100 Dow designs. You'll be driven past dozens of homes, churches and civic structures representing four decades of award winning designs. Two of these homes will be open for interior tours, providing a special opportunity to experience Mr. Dow's work. Each tour takes two hours.
