Many pages have been devoted over the last several months in this
publication to the record & issues behind this year's Presidential contest.
Frankly, if people haven't made up their minds by now, there is little that
can be said to sway them one way or the other.

Therefore, my motto is 'follow the track record'. And
in doing so, it is very easy to keep this short & sweet.

The state of Texas under the leadership of G.W. Bush is
ranked 50th in spending for teachers salaries, 49th in
spending for the environment, 48th in per capita funding
for public health, 47th in delivery of social services,
41st in per capita spending on public education and 42nd
on child support collections.
At the same time, Texas is fifth in percentage of people living in poverty,

first in air and water pollution, first in percentage of poor working

parents without insurance, first in children without health insurance and

right at the top in terms of executions.

If Bush actually does win, it will give new meaning to the notion of

starting at the bottom and moving to the top.
Hmm..perhaps there is a reason that 'the Education Candidate' hasn't

released his grades from any of the institutions he's attended.
